Vacation Essentials for Pumping Moms and Their Babies
Summer is finally here! But before you jump in the car and head straight to the beach, there are a few vacation essentials you should have for you and your baby. Check out our list of items to pack up before your next beach vacation!
Baby Tent
One of the top vacation essentials for your list is getting a portable baby tent! These are the perfect way to keep your baby shaded and can help keep sand out of the way while they play. There are so many great options on the market right now! One of the most popular is California Beach Co. Not only is it a great option that keeps sand and sun out, but their Pop n’ Go tent is also insanely easy to set up!
Cooling Cup
As a pumping mom, you know how important it is to keep your breastmilk cool on the go! That’s why having a quality cooling cup is definitely on the list of vacation essentials this summer. My two favorites are the Junobie Warming and Cooling Cup (because it can both chill and warm up breast milk on the go!) and the Ceres Chill Cup (a compact, stainless-steel travel option!).
Baby Wagon
Another one of my vacation essentials for new moms is a baby wagon. I love the Baby Trend Stroller Wagons because they make moving around with a baby (and all of your other essentials) so much easier! Plus, it doubles as a great on-the-go nap spot for your little one!
Hands-Free Pump
The last thing you want to worry about on your vacation is being stuck in one place holding your pump while everyone is out having fun! That’s why the cordless and rechargeable Pumpables pump is essential for your travels this summer. Plus, to make it hands-free, you can pair it with the Legendairy Milk Collection Cups!
Breast Pump Backpack
You’ll also need something to carry all of your pump supplies and other vacation essentials in! I would definitely check out Mimi and Pal’s Radley Backpack. It comes in three different colors and has a section for your pump and to keep breastmilk cool, an upper section for all of your extra needs, and pockets to store your Junobie or Ceres Chill Breastmilk cup!
Sunscreen
The worst way to end a vacation is with a bad sunburn! But with all of the bad reviews out there for sunscreens, it can be hard to find a good fit. That’s why I personally love Blue Lizard Australian sunscreen. It’s the most natural option I’ve found available, so you can feel good using it while also protecting your skin!
Breastfeeding-Friendly Clothes for Mom
Although this might not be specifically for your baby, having a comfortable pumping and nursing bra for your vacation is definitely a need! That’s why Davin and Adley has so many great options to choose from, including our new Swim Collection! The Amelia Pumping and Swim Bra comes in five different colors and patterns so you can mix and match with your favorite bottoms for your entire vacation!
And when you’re not relaxing at the beach, you should also have the best pumping bra for sleep as well! The Amelia Cami is incredibly comfortable so you can get some much-needed rest after a whole day under the sun. You can also grab a pair of our Mia Boxer Shorts to complete your sleepwear for pumping moms and relax in comfort!
And if you’re looking for a plus size pumping bra, you’re in luck! The Amelia also has a busty option that is just as comfortable as the original!Be Prepared This Summer
The best way to enjoy your vacation is to be prepared with all of the essentials! What else would you add to this list?
