5 Breastfeeding Registry Items You Need
Baby registries don’t only need to include cute clothes and diapers. You should also be putting the postpartum things that you need on there too! Adding these breastfeeding registry items is a great way to prepare yourself for this new transition… and other breastfeeding mamas will know just how much you need them!
1. Breastmilk Bags
If you plan to pump at all, having quality storage bags is essential. Storing breastmilk in the wrong way can impact how long it lasts, so this is an area you really don’t want to skimp on.
Rather than going with plastic storage bags, these reusable breastmilk storage bags from Junobie are some of the best breastfeeding registry items to add! Not only will it save you from throwing tons of bags in the trash, but they are also easy to clean and can actually keep your breastmilk fresh for longer.
2. Breastfeeding-Friendly Clothing
It is so hard to find good breastfeeding-friendly clothing out there for new moms, but it is something you will definitely need! Breastfeeding-friendly clothing makes your life so much easier, especially when you are out and about.
One of my favorite brands for dresses is MLM. Their Little Breastfeeding Dress is comfy, cute, and can be easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion. If you get this from your list early, you can also wear it to show off your cute baby bump!
Another favorite brand of mine is Boose. Their Jules Dress is also great for any occasion and doesn’t make you give up style in the name of breastfeeding. They also have scrubs that are great for working moms or just as a comfy breastfeeding-clothing option.
3. Nursing and Pumping Bras
No matter what route of breastfeeding you choose, you will want a bra that allows you to do so with ease. That’s why we’ve created our line of nursing and pumping bras to add to your list of breastfeeding registry items. The Amelia Pumping & Nursing Crop Cami is a huge favorite because it is cute, comfortable, and functional for a variety of breastfeeding needs. Not only that but The Amelia Pumping and Nursing Cami was just listed as one of the top baby shower gifts of 2022 by country living magazine!4. Nipple Balm
If you’re breastfeeding, you will most likely experience cracked and sore nipples. That’s why adding nipple balm to your breastfeeding registry list is so important! I love Earth Mama’s Organic Nipple Butter. It’s soothing, lanolin-free, and safe for mom and baby.
5. Nursing Pads
One problem that many breastfeeding moms have? Leaking breasts. That’s why we created our Paisley Nursing Pad. There are so many benefits to this design. Not only is it reusable and one-piece, but it also absorbs moisture, curves to your breast shape, and doesn’t move around when you do. You have enough to worry about as a new mom, fishing for a lost nursing pad doesn’t need to be one of them.
BONUS- 6. Postpartum Underwear
Most mom knows that the hospital mesh underwear is not a long-term solution during your postpartum period... but the other options out there? They don't cut it, either!
Instead of simply sizing up or ordering underwear that won't keep everything in place, Davin and Adley has a great solution! Our Mia Boxer Short is the perfect postpartum option for new moms, even if you are dealing with a sensitive C-section scar!
When it comes to your registry, remember that it is okay to register for yourself. Remember, breastfeeding related items are for both you and your baby! These breastfeeding registry items will allow you to feel more comfortable during this new, crazy time, and adding these things to your list is just as important as the normal baby gear. Any of our Davin and Adley products are a great addition to your breastfeeding registry items because we’ve created them with one person in mind: you!
