It was the Monday I returned to work after maternity leave, I’ll never forget it – I was fumbling to put on my uncomfortable pumping bra at work in the mother’s room. Tears of frustration ran my face as I knew my allotted time to pump was running out and I was expected back to a meeting. The exhaustion of being everywhere on demand hit me, it was just too much to change over and over again into a pumping bra that didn’t even work well. It was at that moment that I felt the calling to do something about this maternity bra struggle, not only for myself but for all women.
Hi, I’m Amanda, designer, and owner of Davin & Adley, a woman-owned small business. This single moment began as the spark of my passion to design supportive maternity bras for ALL women in every shape and size to FIT modern-day life. My 15-year-plus career as a Technical Designer and Product Development Specialist of Intimate Apparel and Swimwear prepared me to design supportive maternity bras. I added my breastfeeding education and REAL-life motherhood experience.
